Are you feeling anxious about the current situation? Would you like to meet with others who maybe feeling the impact of Coronavirus and lockdown on their emotional well-being? Alvechurch and Beoley Stronger Together is a new group forming under the Alvechurch Cares umbrella. Its aim is to create a confidential, safe place to come and talk about what we’re going through, how we’re coping, have a giggle and share support within the group. We might also learn some techniques to cope with anxiety and learn how to relax.

We have maintained our supported Lodgings service, but we feel that placing young people in our emergency accommodation would pose too high risk for both hosts and clients.  We will continue to provide support to our clients over the phone and open the office for planned counselling sessions.
