Great Nights Out at Beoley Village Hall

Hi everyone,
First of all, a big thank you for the excellent attendance at our Cinema Night a couple of weeks ago.  The sequel to Fishermans Friends will be shown on 31st March 2023 – full details to follow soon.
But before then we have some excellent entertainment coming up at the Hall.
Hope to see you soon and thanks for your continued support of your Village Hall.
Cheers,
Richard
Monthly “Trad” Jazz Night “HOT FINGERS” | Wednesday 22 February 2023
On Wednesday 22nd February, we have Hot Fingers providing the live music entertainment. Featuring Tom ‘Spats’ Langham with Danny Blyth, Malcolm Sked and Emily Campbell, there will be musicianship of the highest standard with a great variety of tunes, including some that we rarely hear performed by other bands.

Hot Fingers create a great rapport with the audience, with plenty of fun and laughter. There are usually a few snippets of the history of jazz to be picked up, also.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see and hear one of the country’s top bands. Doors open at 7.45pm and the music starts at 8.15pm. Tickets are £12 at the door. Or contact Paul Leyser 07973-759340 to reserve your admission.

Monthly “Trad” Jazz Night “THE LONNIE DONEGAN STORY” | Wednesday 22 March 2023

Following sell out performances of The Lonnie Donegan Story at other venues, we look forward to hosting this fantastic show at Beoley Village Hall on Wednesday 22 March. Warren James “is” Lonnie, accompanied by Jools Aldridge on drums, Alex Clarke on Sax / Clarinet & Flute and Jim Swinnerton on double bass! All awesome players. Lonnie was not only Britains first pop / rock star but he was a founder member of the Ken Colyer Jazzmen and The Chris Barber Band – certainly one of the founders of the British jazz music scene! It’s a great privilege to have this band of talented musicians at Beoley, so don’t delay – put the date in your diary and reserve your tickets soon!

The hall and bar will open at 7.45pm, with the music starting at 8.15pm. Tickets are £12 each. Please contact Richard on 01527 66646 (before 9.00pm please) for ticket reservations or any further information.

“A Night of Comedy & Music from the Black Country” – Featuring DOUG PARKER | Saturday 25 March 2023

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT WAS POSTPONED FROM 2020 – WE ARE DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO REVIVE IT IN 2023.

On Saturday 25 March 2023, Beoley Village Hall presents – DOUG PARKER’s Music & Laughter Show.

The Music and Laughter Show has evolved into its current form as a result of occasional shows where Doug Parker and Steve Ashcroft worked together. The blend of music and comedy dovetailed together well, with each element of the show benefiting from the presence of the other. With Martin Lewis having performed with Steve Ashcroft for more than thirty years, it wasn’t long before he was invited to complete the line-up.

And so you have it a show, combining the best of comedy combined with music to listen to and sing along with. Some fantastic entertainment is guaranteed.

The Hall and bar open at 7.15pm with the entertainment starting at 8pm. We anticipate a sell out evening so please ensure you organise your tickets in advance. Tickets – £12 – available from Richard Ball – email or Tel: 01527-66646 (before 9.00pm please).
